I mentioned that I would write about Marvel movies in a review of the New DC. Well here they are...
Marvel Movies
(Original Titles)Captain Sparklefingers
Avengers: EndFame & EndReign
X-Men 3
Yet another Spider-Man movie
Old Mutants
oops... Sorry, but with 5 Marvel movies this year I couldn't resist.
But it was 5 movies last year as well. It keeps increasing year after year. But they usually have something mapped out for the next 2-4 years like DC does. As of now, it's either a secret, or nothing is mapped out for 2020 apart from other Marvel franchises. Also, the X-Men franchise is nearly dead because of Disney taking over 20th century FOX (or 21st?).
So I'm being rude. What are you going to do? If I were you, I'd ask SkateLane to stop talking and keep their comments to themselves. Which I can't honestly, so I'll go a step further. If it's any consolation, I'm going to talk about ALL Superhero Movies this year instead of just Marvel.
(Perfect Titles of all 2019 Superhero Movies)
Unbreakable 3
Captain SPEW
Captain SPEW: Gender Swapped
HellFrog
Avengers: EndReign
X-Men: All Superheroes are Phoenixes
Spider-Man: No-One Reads The Title
Old Mutants
Joker: Batman's on Leave
Okay that was a bit funny. Now on to 2020.
(Perfect Titles of all known 2020 Superhero Movies)
Sexy Birds
Bloody Movie
1984 - The Cold War
Matrix Conclusion: Morpheus Prequel
Had a good laugh, right? Now Let's go back to Marvel. 8 Superhero movies this year and 5 are from Marvel, 5 from last year as well.
But what about the future. Is this a Soft Reboot? DCEU did it. So all future movies being made will still be in MCU, but probably with different characters, and a few of the past characters. Or don't forget, because everyone will come back (recast or not). That's what I imagine, the characters won't die. They are like the Phoenixes, they will come back.
On a positive note, there are many Untitled Movies with release dates set on 2020-2022. So they'll probably more about it after Avengers.
MCU
Captain MarvelAvengers: Endgame
In Development (no date, not confirmed, can happen in the soft reboot):
Black Widow
Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3
The Eternals
Black Panther 2
Shang-Chi
Doctor Strange 2
Blade -> (how the **ck does Blade fit in MCU, it should be included among other imprints. Blade is one of the oldest superheroes, and one of my favorites. Not the third movie, just the first two. Wesley Snipes can enact the best vampire killer, but you have to remember that the director of the first two movies, Guillermo del Toro, is the reason the movies really ticked. There is no ***ing way the movie will be up to my standards like the third movie, and also like the current unnecessary Hellboy reboot this year. No sequel or reboot of del Toro has ever been successful)
X-Men
Dark PhoenixThe New Mutants
Gambit (2020)
In Development:
X-Force (in development, but Disney deal created issues)
Sony's Marvel
Morbius (2020) - Morbius the Living Vampire (aka Dr. Michael Morbius)... if they are planning of reviving the movie Blade, Sony's Marvel is a good place. (Venom, Morbius, Blade). In Development:
Female Spider-Girl/Woman (Gwen-Stacey?)
Sony's VCU
Bloodshot (2020)That's it for now, SkateLane Booting Out
