The Newest Villain in The Walking Dead looks very promising

Alpha, the newest villain seems to be the third mega-villain introduced in The Walking Dead. And she is the first lead female villain in the show as well.

Alpha in the one episode we've seen her properly, is the leader of the whisperers. Unlike the previous 2 mega-villains we've seen (The Governor, Negan), She seems to have some psychiatric issues. The Governor on the other hand is a dictator, anything I says goes. Negan seems to be like a communist, just work for me and there's no issue mate. Alpha is someone new, and she on the other hand seems to want to destroy everything.

Alpha: "We are animals. Civilization is a myth"

This is a famous quote from the Comic book series where Alpha is talking to Negan. It is implied in Episode 10 of Season 9, when Alpha's daughter is introduced to Hilltop and she sees it as Wonderland. Lydia says that "this" is not supposed to be like this.

When she is questioned by Daryl, I thought at first she would be killed, but was there just for questioning. She talked to Ben when Daryl was almost going to kill her, or "acting" to do so. Henry nearby tells him she's a girl, when Lydia was acting tough. In the end, she opens up to Henry while Daryl listens from the outside. He nearly might have ended up giving away a lot of secrets too if Daryl didn't go back in.

They got everything out of Lydia though. According to Lydia, if any whisperer is dead, they leave them behind. She gives them the "temporary" whisperer camp they have before moving. She says no one will come for her, and I don't think she wants to go back. She likes being in the jail more than outside, which she cannot bear to see.

The previous episode, Negan who was 5 years in a jail and alive as per Rick's orders, he had broken out of his jail from Alexandria amidst all the confusion. But when he finds all the saviors dead or missing, and and the world outside very different in a way that he becomes sad and has a one-to-one with Judith.

Oh, by the way, in the end of episode 10, a group of whisperers led by Alpha comes and says "I only wan't one thing. My daughter", unlike her description. Lydia was led to believe all whisperers leave their own, but her mom Alpha is an exception. I'm assuming she created the whisperers for her gain.
